Dirty Heads Slightly Stoopid Tour

Dirty Heads Slightly Stoopid Tour (aka Slightly Dirty Tour 2024)

We had a chance to attend the Dirty Heads Slightly Stoopid Tour (aka Slightly Dirty Tour 2024) in Charleston, SC at the Credit One Stadium.  Of course, it was absolutely amazing but here is the recap:

Slightly Dirty Tour 2024

Bands:

The Elovators, Common Kings, Dirty Heads, Slightly Stoopid

Where:

Credit One Stadium in Charleston, South Carolina

Date:

July 28, 2024

Parking:

We parked in a paid lot that cost $20.00 and it was relatively close.  They did have parking further away that would bus people to the stadium.  The concert started at 5:00PM and we parked at 5:00 so being close was something we wanted.

Entry:

Any chance we get we always opt for the VIP, so the VIP gate was easy to get through and the lines weren’t long.  General admission was right next to the VIP gate, but it was flowing as well.  We had to get the VIP merch as we entered the venue which wasn’t ideal because we either had to go back to the car or carry it throughout the concert.

Seating:

Once we got access into the stadium we went and grabbed our drinks.  We ended up with 2 separate tickets.  VIP floor seating and the PIT.  Once we got to the floor and got our wrist bands, we determined we wanted to be in the PIT..  BUT..  the wrist band for the PIT was at the entry gate so we had to go back.  Then the entry into the pit was difficult to find so through all of this we missed The Elovators.

We’ve been to Credit One Stadium before and the entire floor was always standing room so not sure why those chose to put seats, called VIP/platinum, behind the PIT.  That was a bit frustrating and if you don’t want or can't get the pit the last row in 100 sections or the first row in the 200 sections would be better.

Performances:

The sound system at Credit One Stadium is absolutely incredible.  In terms of sound, there isn’t a bad seat in the place.  We missed The Elovators but at least could hear them as we approached the venue and while trying to get to our seats/PIT.

We are fans so there was no bad performance, but Dirty Heads absolutely owned the show.  They had the energy of the night; they kept the crowd going and they played some old songs and their ‘hits’.

The show ended just a few minutes before 10:00PM with all the bands on stage just rocking it out.  There are only a few shows left and if you are on the fence about going – take it from us, you need to GO.

Exiting:

Like all venues, leaving is a bit crowded as you find your way outside of the concert area but once out it was easy to get back to the car.  It was dark but safe as police officers were around watching and directing traffic.  Traffic flowed well back to the interstate and didn’t take long.  They organized and prepared for this well.

Overall:

The performance?  A+++++++

The venue?  B-  part of it was our lack of knowing but overall the venue inside could have been better.  Remove the platinum/VIP seating that is behind the PIT.
