With months to go before the highly anticipated Cali Reggae festival, Reggae Rise up in Las Vegas, we wanted to start a series highlighting the bands scheduled to perform. 

Next in our series is Pepper the band and below is our overview.

Commentary:  This is a band we are so excited to see at Reggae Rise Up in Las Vegas.  We have missed them on tour on several occasions, but we will NOT miss them this time.    You can hear the roots of Hawaii and the energy of Sublime in their music.  Pepper started in 1996/1997 and have remained relevant in the Cali Reggae scene which gives testament to their craft.

Pepper has a wide range of styles.  For example, their album “In with the Old” is more rock-centric where songs like Change, Warning and Dancing on the Moon lean more on softer side.  If you want to dig into the history of Cali Reggae and where it all started, then Pepper has to be a band that is mentioned here.
