The Top 5 Must Have Products for Concerts in 2024

So, you are heading to your first concert, and you ask yourself, “What do I need to be able to bring my stuff into a concert?”

If you have been to concerts before then you’ll resonate with these products either because you have them or you realize from this post that you, in fact, NEED them.  But if you haven’t been to a concert and you are trying to determine what to bring then you have come to the right place.

Here are the Top 5 Must Have Products for Concerts in 2024. (Please know that I own and) use each of these products.

Shoulder Sling Bag

This particular bag has a double strap to be more secure around your shoulder.  Concerts are busy and CROWDED so having something secure and EASY to access will just put you at ease.  From my experience, you want the security just so something isn’t lost and not because someone will want to steal from you.  While that is possible, my experience with concerts is that everyone is happy to be there to experience the same thing you are.

Now this bag is small enough to pass (most) security requirements to enter a venue.  I recommend you check first but think of this as a “fanny pack” and I have had zero problems entering.

It’s perfect to put your phone and a few other vital essentials that I have listed below.

Pocket Poncho

Sure, rain at a concert can be fun.  It’s almost a nostalgic kid thought of playing in the rain.  But, if you haven’t planned for it and it starts raining This pocket poncho is just enough to protect AND it is small enough to go inside the bag linked above.

Travel Size (Pocket) Sunscreen

If you are going to be outside, then this pocket sunscreen is perfect to hide in the bag and be able to quickly apply to your face when out in the sun.  This is something you may not think of it, but it fits in the bag, it is easy to use, and your older self will thank you for taking the precautions to protect your skin.

Pocket Sized (Portable) Phone Charger

At a concert you’ll be taking pictures, videos, posting on social media, texting and maybe even using it enter into a venue or pay for merch or drinks.  Forgot to charge your phone?  Battery dies quickly?  This charger is perfect.  It’s compact and it’s magnetic so it will stick to the back of your phone which makes it easier to carry.  You’ll want this feature!

Minimalist Wallet

Sure, you can just put cash and your I.D. in your pocket or stash it in the bag (mentioned above) but it will be much easier to grab and go if you have it organized in a small wallet.  Before you go to the concert, just place your I.D. and your cash in this wallet and then inside the should sling bag and you will be good to go!

This wallet is inexpensive and perfect for what you need:

Summary

This list is the essentials for a concert that you can fit in a small bag and still enter into the venue.  Most venues have security protocols in place that will state what you can and/or cannot bring in, so I highly recommend you check your venue first.  However, with all of these items you will be set and with minimal impact to your ability to have fun all while your personal belongings are secure!  And to all my Cali Reggae fans out there, there is plenty of room left over for other vital items.  😊
